Lifespring Church supports a variety of missional efforts around the world. We consider our missional grid to determine who we support, and in what way we will support. Jake Thurston grew up at the former Fountain City Wesleyan church and went off to college at Indiana Wesleyan University with a call on his life. He has emerged as a planting pastor! God pursued him to start a church in the college town of Vermillion, South Dakota. Jake is what we consider a bullseye to our missional grid! We love he and his family and are excited about what God is doing in and through his ministry. This Video is a spring update to all that God is doing in and through Resilient Church. Check it out! Steve, Linda, and their three daughters visited FCWC in the fall of 1991 and found their church home. In 1998, Steve was hired to lead the worship ministries at FCWC. Steve and Linda love working outdoors, gardening, and long rides. Steve’s also a baseball fan, especially the Cincinnati Reds. He and Linda enjoy the Indy Colts and IU basketball, too. Steve also believes one of our primary roles is to usher the Kingdom of God to earth, through loving God and loving people we are privileged to be His ambassadors!
